Educational and wellbeing courses
Courses and workshops available for the workplace, community groups and school settings.
There are now two courses and two workshops available to employers, schools, community groups and youth organisations to help staff, students and participants throughout the community living through the Defective Block Crisis.
Courses
Course 1 - An Educational and Wellbeing Course for those living through the Defective Concrete Crisis
An educational and well being customisable course for anyone affected by the Defective Blocks Crisis. Suitable for any and all settings.
The previous DB blocks Schools Educational and Well being Programme for second level students has now been expanded into a 6 module customisable course for teens and adults.
Tailoring the Programme:
The DC Educational and Wellbeing Programme is versatile and can be customised based on your specific needs. Each module is 2 hours long and you can choose to run the entire six-module course or select individual modules that align with your goals and time constraints. This flexibility allows you to address the unique requirements of your audience while delivering impactful content that empowers, educates, and supports.
Modules:
Understanding the Defective Concrete Crisis
Navigating Stress and Building Resilience
GlowSchool/RiseStrong – Self Care & Resiliency
Empowerment and Change Making
Real Time Learning and Community Engagement
Future Vision and Your Role Within it
The Enhanced Defective Block Scheme application process is lightly mentioned in some modules but is not covered in any meaningful way.

Workshops
GlowSchool & RiseStrong
The GlowSchool (youth) and RiseStrong (adults) Resiliency and Self Care Workshops are designed to foster well-being, confidence, and personal growth, building resilience as we go.
Through engaging activities, open discussions, and practical experiences, participants will explore the concept of self care, resiliency skills and well being rituals and the profound impact they can have on their lives.
The workshop incorporates various resiliency skills, empowering attendees to effectively cope with life’s challenges.
A highlight of the workshop is an introduction to the Community Resiliency Model course, offering participants a glimpse into valuable techniques and skills for building resilience. This transformative experience will culminate in a Graduation, symbolising participants’ commitment to embracing self care for a happier and more fulfilling life.
The workshops are tailored for adults and young people with the RiseStrong workshops for adults and GlowSchool for teens and young people.
