Temporary and Alternative Accommodation

At present there are no plans to provide temporary or alternative accommodation

Roisin Gallagher of Redress Focus Groups along with Shane Doherty Architects submitted this Temporary Accommodation Proposal to Donegal County Council in October 2023. It was not accepted or approved. The council said they did not foresee a demand over and above the usual demand throughout the county. This came as a shock to us as this is not reflective of the reality of the crisis therefore it is worrying that our local authority is of this opinion.
